The SA Adelaide Language Centre Teacher Training and Development programme is designed for teachers of English who wish to improve their knowledge and teaching skills in relation to current practice in English language teaching. There is a strong focus on the practical application of approaches and techniques in teachers' own classrooms.

The programme provides unique opportunities for:

Professional development incorporating theory and practice.
Classroom observation in both ELICOS and mainstream ESL classes.
Exposure to current issues and trends in ELT.
Review and adaptation of classroom texts and supplementary materials.
Practice and improvement of English language skills, especially speaking and listening.
A rich and rewarding cultural, professional and personal experience.
